What we do

Germantown Green, formerly Tree Germantown, is a volunteer organization dedicated to restoring and preserving the tree canopy in the historic Germantown neighborhood of Northwest Philadelphia. The group works to plant trees in Germantown twice a year in spring and fall, in collaboration with Tree Philly, a program of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Treevitalize tree planting initiative.

Germantown Green is powered by volunteers.
